Welcome to the Camino Team Tim Reed

Camino would like to welcome Tim Reed to the Camino Apparel Athlete Team.

We are extremely excited to have Reedy become a Camino Comrade and believe he’ll be a great ambassador for our brand.

Reedy represents everything Camino stands for. Nothing comes for free. It’s hard work and dedication. This mind set has allowed Reedy to achieve his goals, which has also led him to become the 2016 World Champ.

Reedy achieved World Champ status last year at Ironman World 70.3 Championships on home soil on the Queensland Sunshine Coast. It was one of the most determined victories in Triathlon history. Reedy showed his true Aussie spirit and a ‘never say die’ attitude.

The battle between Sebastian Kienle and Reedy was fought out on the run course. It was a tactical running race, each athlete trying to break each other. With only 5km from the finish it looked as if Seb had broken Reedy and would be running towards victory. However, with Reedy’s ‘never say die’ attitude he regained composure to pull up next to Seb for a classic finish.

With the roars, cheers and words of encouragement coming from the Aussie spectators, Reedy kicked into another gear heading up the Alexander Headland hill. Instantly breaking the elastic band that had held these two athletes together for the whole race. Reedy would sprint off to become the 2016 World Champ.

It’s not only the amazing courage and passion that Camino admire about Reedy but also the humble and respectful way that he carries himself, as an athlete and a brand. He has a certain drive that not many pro athletes have these days.

Camino will be working closely with Reedy to better improve our product. With Reedy’s technical brain and his years of racing experience, Camino will develop high performance race apparel for the market.

We also respect his family values. Husband to Monica, father of 2 boys Oscar and Artie. We welcome the whole Reed family to the Caminos
